THE REGISTERED TRUSTEES OF ISLAMIC SITES CONSERVATION

ISLAMIC SITES CONSERVATION is a Non-Government Organization involved in preservation and maintenance of Islamic Historical sites and Monuments. It is also educating people on introduction of Islam in our Country through early evidences of Historical heritage.

The Organization established on 23rd March 2007 and got Registration on 24th October 2008 with the Registration Number 3568 under Trustees Incorporation Act (Cap. 318 R.E 2002).

Principle Objectives:
To offer Consultation and Practical service.

1. To Support and Continue Building life and Monuments.
2. To maintain high level of workmanship within a strict management structure.
3. To contribute to the Development of foundation of continuing care.
4. To restore the actual use of the Buildings (Mosques), Schools, Graves etc.
5. To improve the value and respect of Islamic sites and Islam.
6. To support Government on the Maintenance and Historical Sites.
7. To Preserve the Evidence of Islamic History.
8. To facilitate Historical information.
9. To expose Tanzanian Historical Sites abroad.
10. To support Community developments through establishments of Schools, Colleges and other social services.
11. To receive Funds, Donations, Grants, Aids, Loans, Zakkah from or to similar Organizations, Government, Individuals, National or International.

To engage in any Business falling under the Islamic jurisdiction and the Law of the Country. For the purpose of realizing the above objects the following department opened:

1. DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY.
2. DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURAL, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION.
3. DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA AND RESEARCH.
4. DEPARTMENT OF TRAVEL AND TOUR.
5. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SERVICES.

Currently we started several social services projects in eight regions of Tanzania (i.e. Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Iringa, Tanga, Coast, Lindi, Mtwara and Zanzibar archipelagos). In near future we intends to expand our services country wide.
